Master of finance, conqueror of the great outdoors
Thomas Köhler joined AM Ventures mid-2016, after realizing the enormous potential of additive manufacturing and the promising business perspective of AM Ventures. Thomas set up the company structure, including subsidiaries. He has been involved in all investment decisions. Thomas actively negotiated and closed several deals (e.g. Elementum3D). A further achievement was the closing of the co-investment agreement with the European Investment Fund. Thomas also holds a Board of Directors position in the biggest AM Ventures investment.
Before joining AM Ventures, Thomas spent 16 years in a leading German machine and capital equipment manufacturer. He held several management positions in commercial management, finance, and controlling and collected broad international experience, including expat-assignments to Brazil and Italy. Thomas holds a degree in Business Administration and Finance.
Thomas is married and has two kids. In his spare time, Thomas likes being outdoors hiking, cycling and skiing.
