Philip Schultheiss joined the firm just one year after its inception in 2016. Philip is the architect behind our digital infrastructure, streamlining everything from deal flow management to fund reporting. Further, current responsibilities include shaping the investment strategy and portfolio management. In 2023 he took over additional duties as authorised representative and part of AM Ventures’ extended management team. As part of the investment team, he is responsible for seven portfolio companies spanning Europe, the US, and Australia. He led the investments in Additive Drives, evove and Fortius Metals.
Prior to joining AM Ventures, he gained valuable industry insights as a consultant at EOS’ consulting unit. His career began in IT hardware sales, where he successfully restructured operations for a small IT company as Assistant to the CEO.
Academically, he holds an International Executive MBA from the University of St.Gallen, a Master’s in Industrial Engineering from the University of Augsburg, and a Bachelor’s in Material Resource Management. Remarkably, he graduated top of his class in all four programs, including his certification as a Private Equity Analyst.
Philip is a proud husband and father to a one-year-old daughter. When he steps away from the office, you’ll likely find him on the volleyball court, enjoying both the physical challenge and team dynamics. Additionally, he serves as the technical director for a local semi-professional theatre, balancing his passion for technology with creativity and community engagement.
