A 3D printing evangelist who likes to look at the big picture
Alois Hotter is acting as a scout for Southern Europe, France, Benelux and Israel. His core is software investments mainly focusing on platforms, machine learning and infrastructure to enable knowledge automation in additive manufacturing.
He is an operator by heart and is fascinated by helping entrepreneurs to achieve what they set as their goal. Prior to AM Ventures, Alois gained experience in the start-up scene from different perspectives. Besides, he was responsible for knowledge management at the consulting department of EOS making sure 3D Printing knowledge is accessible to bring AM into serial production.
Alois received his degree in economics from University of Regensburg and Humboldt University in Berlin. He is certified Private Equity Analyst (CPEA) (TUM/BVK).
Alois enjoys mountaineering in the Alps and has a passion for travelling all over Africa. He is constantly challenging himself with many adventures, including a charity rally crossing the Sahara and a motorbike tour through the Balkans and Eastern Europe.
