Alexander Schmoeckel is a pivotal figure in driving AM Ventures’ expansion in the US. Known for his unparalleled expertise in cap tables and Excel wizardry, he is the mastermind behind our portfolio company’s success and the architect of our network’s growth. Alexander oversees scouting activities in the US and currently supervises Elementum 3D, MetShape, Incus, Lithoz, Fortius Metals, Vectoflow, and Headmade. Beyond his technical prowess, Alexander plays a key role in integrating ESG aspects into our processes and managing AM Ventures’ social media presence. Thanks to his efforts, the value of #ubuntu is one of AM Ventures’ three core principles.
Alexander’s professional experience includes working at the consulting group of EOS, interning at Deutsche Bahn’s in-house consultancy, and serving as a research assistant for additive manufacturing at the Technical University of Munich (TUM).
He holds both, a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Management & Technology from TUM, with specializations in finance, accounting, and mechanical engineering. During his studies, he spent one semester abroad in Paris and was part of the elite scholarship program TUMfast. In 2025, he returned to his alma mater to complete his Certified Private Equity Analyst (CPEA) certification.
His extracurricular interests include playing volleyball and padel, and he is an accomplished magician, entertaining at various events.
