Our resident expert in AM and a sailor at heart
Adrian joined AM Ventures in 2016 just one year after its inception in 2016. His focus includes expanding AM Ventures’ industry and venture capital network, supporting fundraising, leading global scouting and growing the AM Ventures brand globally. As a long-standing member of the investment team, he leads both new and follow-on deals and supported the successful exit of Cubicure. Adrian is experienced at dealing with complex situations and enjoys evaluating medical technology and hardware deals. He is currently looking after DyeMansion, LPT, evove, Scrona and Spectroplast and is working on integrating ESG issues into AM Ventures’ processes.
Prior to joining AM Ventures, Adrian worked in the consulting group of EOS, where he helped setting up the business and designed and delivered customer workshops. Prior to this, he worked at PERI, a global leader in the construction industry.
He holds both a B.Sc. and a M.Sc. in Management & Technology from TU Munich, with a focus on innovation, entrepreneurship and product development. During his studies, he supported startups at UnternehmerTUM, Europe’s premier center for innovation and entrepreneurship. Additionally, he spent an exchange semester in Bangkok (Thailand) focusing on cross-cultural competencies. In 2023, he completed his Certified Private Equity Analyst (CPEA) certification.
Adrian spends most of his free time on the water, sailing with a passion that’s hard to miss. He’s a fierce competitor in the German National Sailing League and has represented Germany and his yacht club in various European and World Championships. When he is not racing, he pushes his limits with CrossFit and you will find him exploring new corners of the globe with his wife, son and friends.
