Our resident expert in AM and a sailor at heart
Adrian Maier-Ring supervises five of AM Ventures‘ portfolio companies and is responsible for startup scouting in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. In addition, Adrian is in charge of the global scouting strategy, as well as marketing and communications. Furthermore, he is embedding ESG aspects in the organisation’s processes and supports the managing partners in investor relations.
Before joining AM Ventures, Adrian worked in the consulting group of a world-market leader in Additive Manufacturing. He was involved in setting up the entity as well as designing and performing workshops with customers. Before that time, he worked in logistics and supply chain management at PERI GmbH, a hidden champion in the construction industry.
Adrian holds a Bachelor and a Master of Science in Management & Technology from Technical University Munich. During his studies, he supported startup companies in various projects at UnternehmerTUM, Europe’s leading center for innovation and startups.
Adrian spends most of his free time on the water sailing. He is competing in the German National Sailing League and apart from that he used to represent Germany and his yacht club in various European and World Championships.
